Once you have successfully been assigned a USSD after applying, to go live you must add a callback URL to the assigned USSD.

A callback URL is a link that Africa's Talking will forward traffic received from the USSD to, for example, when a client dials the USSD code and inputs the digit 1, we will send that the set URL.

An event URL is a link where the end of session notifications are sent with information related to the session, like duration, cost, status and so forth.

To set a callback URL, go to the username where it has been assigned to, and click on USSD on the side bar and select Service Codes.

On that screen, on the shown table, click the 3 dots and select callback.

From the menu that pops up, you can put your callback URL, and events URL.

Click on save and voila, your callback URL and events URL have been set, and you are ready to go live.
